ARCHITECTURE SLIDE 17

Hey look at this one. Here is a detail of the domes of the Church of St. Basil the Blessed in Moscow.

The geometry of this building reminds us of something from the Klingon Empire. It is a veritable feast of circles, curves, rectangles, arches, parallel lines, pyramids, domes, donuts, triangles, quadrilaterals, parabolas, and diamonds. It seems as though the architects could not decide which shapes were best, so they used them all.

Regardless, it is an exciting visual experience that keeps you engrossed. We would love to know how long it took to build.
