Hexagonal Prism Net Example with Surface Area and Volume

Remember YOURS must be IRREGULAR, all the sides of the hexagons can't be the same length.

Remember the sides of prisms are always rectangles. The tops and bottoms must be the same shape.

Don't forget your glue flaps. When you dry fold, you'll be able to tell if you put on too many glue flaps. If so, just cut the extras off.

Remember to include all your dimensions for each face so you can find the surface area and volume. Your irregular, hexagon will have to be cut up into triangles, this is called triangulated, or into trapezoids as is our example.
